FAQ
Will they fade outdoors? Much like yard and garden flags that are used outdoor the Plant Huggy fade factor is dependent upon the elements and how harsh they are in your neck of the woods. A fade resistant product such as Scotch Guard may be used to deter any fading.
How does the water drain? Plant Huggy is made of cloth and therefore the water drains right through the fabric and away from the plant. If desired a drip pan may be inserted into the Plant Huggy before the plant, the Plant Huggy will hide both the pot and drip pan. Used indoor a drip pan is recommended to save your furniture and floors. Used outdoor a drip pan is optional.
Will Plant Huggy affect the watering of the plant? We have found that as an extra bonus your plants don’t dry out as quickly in the bright sunlight. If you use a drip pan with the Plant Huggy the excess moisture from the drip pan also helps the watering schedule in the hot summer months.
What pots will Plant Huggy fit? Plant Huggy will fit up to a 10” round container. If your pot is a shallow pot you can use a piece of floral foam or turn a small plastic container upside down and place it in the drip pan or saucer before the pot to adjust the height. If you have a narrow or tapered pot you can use a drip pan or saucer to fill out the bottom if necessary.
